Quiet Saturday – Awakenings through Stillness, Solitude, Silence
October 5 at 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
Albert Einstein was asked toward the end of his life if he had any regrets. He answered: “I wish I had read more of the mystics in my life.” Carl Jung warned us that “we westerners cannot be pirates thieving wisdom from foreign shores that it has taken them centuries to develop as if our own culture was an error outlived.” Today we shall thread a golden portion of the poetry and wisdom of NANA VEARY, DIETRICH BONHOEFFER, CLARISSA PINKOLA ESTES, BROTHER DAVIDE STEINDAL-RAST and EDWINA GATELY through the lens of the Principle and Foundation in the Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius of Loyola.
